Biography

Curt Cuomo is a Grammy-Nominated songwriter, producer, industry executive and accomplished musician, with over twenty-five years of success in the music business. Published writer for Warner Brothers, Columbia Pictures and Sony Music, President of Extraordinary Life Music Publishing Group and President of House of Rock Music and Head of A&R.

Son of distinguished musician and Juilliard graduate, Lou Cuomo, Curt was born in Hollywood, California and was clearly gifted from a young age. Drawn to the piano and having written his first compositions before the age of ten, Curt's songs now appear on over a dozen gold, platinum and multi-platinum releases.

He has a catalogue of over 500 songs, including the Grammy nominated hit single Psycho Circus for KISS, which peaked at #1 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and was the lead single off their RIAA certified gold album Psycho Circus; the iconic band's first album with original members in makeup in 20 years. Curt's writing contributions to the final unmasked KISS album, Carnival of Souls, included the album's only top 10 single "Jungle" which became their second highest charting song on Billboards Rock Chart and won the 1997 Metal Edge Readers' Choice Award for Song of the Year. His songs can be found on over 20 KISS releases, including the limited edition RIAA certified 8x Platinum Kissology Volume 3. Additionally, Curt is featured in the official authorized KISS biography, “Behind The Mask”.

Cuomo wrote and produced the last three Eddie Money albums, including the top 10 single “Don’t Say No Tonight” and the holiday rock classic "Everybody Loves Christmas," featured in the Tim Allen movie, The Santa Claus 2.

Curt wrote and produced for legendary artist Edgar Winter's highly acclaimed album Rebel Road, including the title track, featuring Slash on guitar. The album, also featuring musical
appearances by Clint Black and Johnny Winter, was named "the best rock album in decades" by Bob Coburn of KLOS's Rockline.

Curt’s songs have been featured across film and television, including Oscar-nominated Ghost World, The Santa Clause 2, Empire Records, Lion Heart, Baywatch, Storytelling, Exit In Red,
Necromancer and Beneath the Darkness.

As President of House of Rock Music, Curt signed The Doobie Brothers and released their thirteenth studio album, "World Gone Crazy", which garnered them their highest Billboard chart position since 1989. His songs, production and artist development talent launched new artist Chase Bryant into the Nashville music scene, where he was quickly signed to a record deal.

Curt's passion is real talent, developing new artists and his contributions to the industry, which continue to inspire new and established creators worldwide.
