Daniel Elms

Daniel Elms (b. 1985) is a Yorkshire composer based in London. His music is humanist and post-minimal, influenced by the rich history of Anglo-Norman folklore and the proportions and devices of typography and print. His music has been performed by members of the London Symphony Orchestra, the Academy of St Martin in the Fields, the Aurora Orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, the Balanescu Quartet, the Valido Quartet, and prominent soloists such as Richard Harwood, Thomas Gould and Giacomo Bigoni.
