Neil Cowley’s compositions are defined by dynamic contrast where ferociously forceful, hook-laden melodies and thundering crescendos meet reflective moments of beauty. His group the Neil Cowley Trio have released five albums, winning BBC Jazz and Jazz FM awards. Neil is the go-to pianist where jazz technique and rhythmic suppleness are required for pop hits; his work with Adele on 19 and 21 made him 2011’s most listened to pianist amidst work with Emeli Sande, Birdy and Rhianna. His music has featured on TV, ads and films, including original scores for Inside The Mind Of DH Lawrence and Balzan’s Contract.
